The Covenant

Journey of Faith Marriage Ministry

Vision:

The Vision of "The Covenant" is to lead couples toward Jesus Christ and establish a dependence on His Word to sustain and bless their marriages.  This Ministry will teach covenant relationship and its unconditional faithfulness and love, thereby equipping couples with tools to have strong, Christ-centered relationships.

Mission:

"The Covenant" Marriage Ministry was established to provide opportunities for married and engaged couples to strengthen their relationship by offering a forum to gain knowledge and enlightened perspectives about God’s expectations regarding marriage and marital roles, as well as promote bonds and establish support groups within the ministry. These objectives are met through monthly meetings and workshops where couples can learn about communication, submission, love, conflict resolution, household finance, and other matters that may affect our unions. The Covenant allows couples to discuss issues and gain insight from others who have successfully confronted those same issues and share experiences in order to identify and avoid potential marital pitfalls, while doing so in a confidential, supportive setting.

The Covenant couples are also involved in social events and outings where they can fellowship with other couples in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
